We are proud to announce a free, new, comprehensive financial education class, designed specifically for those who have experienced incarceration. This video-based program is designed to empower people who have experienced incarceration, enabling them to put their best foot forward during their reentry process and beyond. The course is informative, supportive, and easy to follow, helping people learn the tools and skills needed to take control of their financial situation. The program can be found here:
The project was funded by the Bench and Bar Fund of the Western District of Washington. It was created by CENTS, with input from Western District of Washington judges, court staff, U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services, attorneys and financial professionals, and formerly incarcerated persons.
